We operate across Greater Manchester including Stockport, Cheadle, Didsbury, Sale, Altrincham, Manchester city centre and surrounding areas. If you are just outside our usual radius, drop us a message and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I book for a time that suits me?

Absolutely. We offer appointments Monday to Saturday with morning and afternoon slots available. Evening appointments can sometimes be arranged by request. You choose the address — home, workplace or even a seller's driveway.

Can someone else be there instead of me?

Yes, as long as they are over 18 and can provide access to the vehicle. Many customers arrange inspections at a seller's address while they are at work. We will call or message you straight after with a verbal summary.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment for a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit the deposit to cover reserved time. Just call or WhatsApp us and we will sort it out.

Depending on the tier you choose, we cover visual checks of tyres, brakes, lights and fluids, OBD diagnostic scans, road tests, paint-depth readings, battery health tests, and full photo or video evidence packs. Our Premium report is the most comprehensive.

Do I need to be present during the inspection?

No, although you are welcome to attend. Many buyers arrange the inspection directly with the seller and we report back to them. We just need the vehicle accessible and the seller's permission to inspect it.

Our Standard check starts at £99, the Full inspection is £149, and the Premium report is £199. Add-ons such as HPI checks, battery tests, and paint-depth readings are available at extra cost. All prices are fixed — no hidden fees.

When do I pay?

You pay a deposit online at the time of booking (£25–£50 depending on the service). The remaining balance is paid directly to the mechanic on the day, either by card or cash. For repair work, payment is due upon completion.

We accept all major debit and credit cards through our secure Stripe checkout for deposits. On the day, our mechanic can take card payments via a portable reader, or you can pay by cash or bank transfer.

At the moment we do not offer regulated finance or instalment plans. All services are pay-as-you-go. Any third-party finance arrangements for vehicle purchases are between you and the seller or their finance provider.

If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, your deposit is refunded in full. If we arrive and the vehicle is not as described or is inaccessible, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee. We will always discuss this with you first.

We handle brake pads and discs, suspension diagnostics, full OBD scans, pre-MOT checks, bulb replacements, filter changes, brake fluid changes, and battery tests. As a VAG specialist, we have deep expertise with Audi, VW, SEAT and Škoda — but we service all makes.

We use high-quality OEM or equivalent parts that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications. If you specifically require genuine manufacturer parts, let us know when booking and we will source them for you. All parts come with a warranty.

Is there a warranty on your work?

Yes. All labour is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, typically 12 months or 12,000 miles. If anything we have fitted fails within the warranty period, we will replace it free of charge.

Yes. Our Pre-MOT check (£75) identifies common failure items before you take the car to the test centre. We can then carry out any necessary repairs at your address, saving you the hassle of multiple garage visits.
